A very good Tuesday to all.
A cloudy day here in Blighty, 15C.
A lazy morning fast asleep.
I went to a coin dealer in Atherton at lunchtime, hence my late post again.
I have loads of coins which I collected years ago, and they’re just lying in the drawer doing nowt.
It occurred to me I could sell some and enjoy the money.
Long story short, the dealer wasn’t for giving me any great amount of money so I came away empty handed.
Our big shop today, and Tesco have relaxed their strict safety standards.
There was nobody controlling the ins and outs of customers, and they have removed the one way system inside.
They have thankfully retained the controlled queuing to the tills.

Mo, hope all is well with you.
I totally agree with your comments, if they are going to introduce compulsory masks, why wait till the 24th, do it sooner rather than later.
Have a nice day and take care.

Vince, it seems things are a lot stricter in Spain and also it is better policed, long may it continue.

Lizzie, hope you get your flags dried !!!! LOL
Well done with typing all those solutions.
Thanks again for our wordage.
Take care.

Today we walked on the paths around Walker fold in Horwich, it’s on Scout Lane.
Lovely big car park, which was quite full today.
Lots of folk walking which we had to keep dodging.
Well what a day, EDF our energy supplier warned us 2 weeks ago that there would be an electricity cut today, its only just come back on an hour ago, 8 hours with no power.

A big hello to everybody.
A cloudy day at the moment here in Blighty, 18C is forecast with some afternoon sun.
A lazy morning asleep!!!!!!
Well, talk about spending money, I bought my self an all singin’ all dancing’ stainless steel wine fermenter.
It’s a cracking bit of kit, basically a cylinder with a conical base.
The cone collects all the sediment and has a tap above it so you drain the clear wine off.
Looking forward to trying it out.
My lawn mower packed in, it’s probably mendable but I’m sick of cables getting wrapped around the rockeries and kerbs, so I’ve got myself a Spear and Jackson cordless mower, just picked it up half an hour ago, I’ll get it charged up this arvo and maybe try it out tomorrow.
This arvo our usual big shop.

Hope Mo and Vince are well
Take care Our Mo.
Enjoy your golf Vince.

A very good Thursday hello to everybody.
A cloudy and slightly wet day at the here in Blighty, 17C is forecast.
A lazy morning asleep!!!!!!, but I’m going out after posting these words to cut my front hedge, weather permitting.
This arvo our woodland walk up Rivvy and hope the rain keeps off.

Mo, so very sorry to hear of you losing your car, you must be gutted, I’m sure you’ll adjust your routine.
On the plus side, you won’t have road tax and insurance to fork out, that’ll pay for taxis and buses.
Thanks for your concern, but when I use my strimmer I wear some old but very sturdy walking boots, I also wear safety goggles and definitely no shorts!!!!
Have a nice day.

Vince sorry to hear of your cramps, it must be painful, hope it’s a passing phase.

Hope you are keeping safe and well.

We’ve had a bit of light rain this morning so this arvo is a little suspect, if it looks dry we’ll get a walk in, if it looks like rain we need some bits and bobs from Sainsbury’s.
A light lunch of vegetable juice for me, while I do ‘the words’.

The UK is not very good at the moment and the North West of England has had new lockdown restrictions applied.
We take extreme precautions to avoid contamination, we wash hands, wear face masks and avoid mixing with folk, If I caught this bug, with my health and heart condition, I don’t think I would survive.

I wouldn’t even get embroiled with them.
