My first daffodil bloom opened today.

Always cheers me up: signifying winter is on its way out.

My daffodils have been and gone.. Flowering cherry done, Camellias done, Azaleas in bloom and Bridal wreath in bloom.. everything is too early..

Some of my perennials from last year are still blooming as we didn't have enough freezes to have them die back... Crazy weather....

Michigan’s upper peninsula has had a lot of snow over a short period, it seems that we get a winter storm warning every two or three days. The M28 road passed my house has been closed more times than ever I can remember, just have to hunker down , stay warm and make sure there’s plenty of food in the pantry.
Our snow depth guage is at the corner of our road, the snow is up to the STOP on the stop sign :-o

We have also had a glorious day here in Milton Keynes. A load of washing on the line and a walk around Furzton Lake - hoards of people out there, stopped at the Pub/Hotel on the lake and had a drink outdoors. However, around the lake were also lots of police and underwaters divers who are looking for a 19yr old girl who has been missing for a week now - she lives only about 10 mins from me and police are now seriously concerned for her. We pray for her safe return.

I am in Canmore for a couple of days. The Rockies tower over the town. No sign of spring here. It is minus 15 and there has been snow overnight. Beautiful sights though. Bracing walk shortly.

I believe Canmore has something in common with Bryn.

(Although, strictly speaking, Bryn does not have them any longer.)
