i remember my nan gave me a stool that opened up as a sewing box. i can see myself now sat on the Ribble bus bringing it home. it was a strange present because i think I was 5 but I loved the pink satin inside. it was still at mum's house when she died and looking quite tatty so I decided to let it go.
