it's a daft storyline.

I agree, a non story.
But Marbles will get her reward.

A similar tryst was to happen between Phyllis Pearce (Jill Summers) and Percy Sugden (Bill Waddington} but she died before the romance blossomed, now them as a couple would have made some hilarious scenes.

Had to do something to salvage my reputation after the Emmerdale Fiasco

Maria and Jason had the makings, Ayrefield. He plays a dafty very well, could easily make him a comedy act.

If I,m not mistaken Maria and Jason are an item in real life,

I know Debbie Dingle and thingy out of the shop are, they were on Mr & Mrs and he said she was reading the packaging on a loaf to find out how to make toast.
