I might be trying to teach my mother to suck eggs ann-spam but if you don't already you should clean your handbag with leather polish it will prolong its life.

keep ya leather goods well dubbed with dubbin.leather will always look new, stitching will last forever.
we have harness wear that is 40/50 years old through a regular dose of dubbin.good as new.
