energy efficient certificate
will someone tell me why on selling ones home you have topay to have this done , when you have proof of loft insulation ,windows doors with a fensa certificate, a new boiler done by warm front <condensor>just another way of getting money out of you remember a couple of years ago we paid on my mums bungalow hip then not long after the goverment scrapped it

Just had one done on a house i rent out. Its lagged, new central heating and new double glazing. Point of it i do not know. No idea what happens if you are not energy efficient. Another way of gaining cash ecmdj

I think one of the reasons behind these certificates is so that prospective purchasers can compare the property to others that may interest them.

Well my house here is top energy efficient but is bloody freezing. Reason, its in billinge and on a hill. Other house is energy efficient c yet is much warmer. Reason is its surrounded by other houses which act as a windbreak and the bilinge house is not. Certicate means nowt as far as i am concerned

after seeing results of the certificate done , my home is upvc double glazed with the energy efficiency glass k , loft well insulated , and energy efficiency boiler fitted not long ago it shows d 65 efficiency , but potential 85 . god whatever next does one need .solar panels more likely . just another way of getting money
