I’ve never felt so ill….
….yesterday I went for my COVID booster and was asked if I had, had my flu jab, I had an appointment for this morning but agreed to have both. Everything ok until about 8pm then started to feel soreness in both arms the COVID more than the flu. Woke up about 3am with a splitting headache, feeling nauseous, wobbled and really struggled to the bathroom. Didn’t sleep a wink after that. Managed to get up this morning but so tired and lethargic done nothing or eaten anything.
My first two jabs no problem at all, must be the two together the cause of these unwelcome side effects.

I hope you are soon feeling better Anne. I know it’s too late for you but I’ve been advised not to have my booster and flu jab at the same time.

Sorry to hear you’re not well, Anne, hope you’re soon recovered.
My friend’s Mum had no trouble with the first two Covid jabs, but was quite poorly with the booster.

Yes, feeling a lot better now, although not 100%. Thank you ladies. I think everyone should be aware of the two together as linma suggests, although individuals will not have the same reactions. Now got to get the body clock back in sync.

Glad you’re feeling better, Anne.
I’ve just checked & the NHS advise it’s ok to have the vaccinations together. After your experience though I’d rather not risk it.

I do not know all the ins and outs but because of my underlying condition and medication , I have been advised to wait a minimum of ten days after having the booster . I will be at 28days when I get the flu jab. Who knows.
Glad you are coming round Anne not the first time I have heard of this a friend was quite poorly for a week or so but is now OK

Over 10 years ago the missus and me had our flu jabs, we were asked if we wanted the new pneumonia jab too, we did and hours later we both had to call a doctor.
