Three predictions

Started by: PeterP (11223)

Even thou schools have been shut during the pendemic and they are hoping all schools will be OPEN by the 1st week of Sept.
I predict some one will get sent home because they have not got the correct attire.
If and when more people get back into work then the kennels will start to overflow with dogs because there is no-one at home during the day and this will cause problems.
There will be plenty of cycles for sale because workers will not be using them.

Re: the dogs.

I go to lots and lots of houses, all over the north west.
I find that people don't give a toss about their dogs being alone all day.
He goes to work at 7 am. She takes the kids to school at 8.30 am, then goes to work.
The next time a human enters the house is between 4 pm and 6 pm.

They don't think they are doing anything wrong.

Some folk don't deserve a dog, they have no idea, plus if the poor thing starts to chew anything out of pure boredom and frustration he or she probably gets a whack.

Coming home from Preston yesterday afternoon and whilst travelling through Penwortham all the schools had finished for the day, the pavements were packed with secondary schoolchildren. That was a good sight and when they were getting on the bus just happy chatty children. Made my day.

Yoo have a dog, so that you can leave it at home when you go out, and it will stop burglars, burgleding your house, as in a guard dog, have yoo ever heard the phrase "you don't bark yourself, when yoo have got a dog"

You just hope that when you get home, the bloody thing hasn't chewed everything up, and shit all over the place

That is called 'doggies revenge' for being left on its own all day

TTS there are dog owners who have dogs which are trained over time to be left for a time and are quite happy to be left alone during this time . But it is the new dog owners were all the family have been home 24/7 this is the problem area. A dog(more so a puppy) that is used to having people around all day then suddenly there is no body there will start fretting and could cause damage/soil the house or bark and whine till some one comes home. These are the dogs which will probably end up in kennels.

True, because a lot of people who get dogs can't even look after themselves never mind a dog.

Poor dogs,if they can't cope why on earth did they get a dog in the first place,my little dog has been a comfort to me..shame on them, some people make me so mad...I just hope the dogs get better homes than the ones that discarded them.

Now I thought a dog/cat would have helped people while they're isolating.

People who get a pet dog/cat do not realise that they are a 24/7 job and you cannot ignore it. Forget the vets/injections(never heard of it in my youth) they require exercise and company. Some dogs want to go out at daft times and if its icy or blowing a gale or lashing down they still need to go out. there used to be a sticker in a lot of cars,A dog is for life not just christmas.
