Bridge strikes

Started by: PeterP (11291)

Yet again Prescott Street bridge gets a vehicle stuck under it blocking the road. It could have damaged the bridge which would of stopped the trains. Why do they not fit height bars (like on some car parks) so if a vehicle is too high then it would hit the height bar before the bridge.

Too simple that PeterP. How dare you use common sense. Go and stand in the corner.

Why don't they simply lower the road?

Wasn't the road lowered many, many years ago under Chapel lane railway bridge?

Either the drivers are on auto pilot following their sat navs or are driving without due care and attention.
