State pension
I am getting near to drawing my state pension but wonder who is best (face to face) to talk to over my pension. I don't want to do this over the phone.

You could ask Joe Soap, but I woudnt I would ask 2 or 3 a proper pensions advisor, then go home and think about it

Lectriclegs has it stands if and when I draw the state pension I am led to believe I will loss my Carers allowance. Also it is another 2years till my wife turns 66 so does it pay me to defare my pension till then. This is only part of it. This is why I need to speak to some one person to person

Maybe Citizens Advice Bureau could help you with that one. Wouldn't think it is a rare occurrence. Good luck.

Peter P , if you defer your state pension , you will still lose carers allowance as they deem it as you are entitled to it and its your own decision not to get it ,also the date they give you to start your pension is
false as its paid a month in arrears ie: your first payment is made a month after your due date . Are you a member of Wigan and Leigh carers association
if not you can enrol , they give really good confidential advice
