To be honest I think the kiwi's will win, I have enjoyed some matches but probably it lost a bit of interest when England did not perform!
Another good effort at a sports thread ruined immediately

fossil why is it a good thread? all it is is a reminder for the two or three folk in Wigan who actually give a toss about "The Dark Side" I genuinely do not know one person who has shown the least interest in this tournament and although I have nothing against anyone who is prepared to spend Eighty Minutes of their life to watch a few goal kicks, I myself prefer Rugby League because I enjoy seeing Tries scored

Like I have said before, what kind of game is it when a team can win on penalties for petty offences and not tries?

It is a good thread and it was also a good game!
I thoroughly enjoyed it,and I consider the better team lost.
Whatever happened to the so called finest talent that played rugby league at one time, Sonny Bill Williams,he couldn't get a game today!

The trick to watchimg rugby union is don't try to compare it with rugby league. You have to accept that you are watching a totaly different sport. If you try to compare it with rugby league you won't enjoy it.

i agree Tuddy it is a different game .i remember when Wigan played Bath in the two games all the league followers were saying wigan would win em both ,but as we saw they never had a look in its also the same with American Football i enjoy the game but lots of people try to compare it to rugby ,and belittle the players not me theres some big fellas in that game

The way that NZ have played throughout the tournament, I was expecting them to win easily, but when I watched it this morning, I thought the All Blacks were lucky to have won it.
France played out of their skins and were on the wrong end of some dodgy refereeing decisions.

I like the International Union game but there are too many stoppage for my liking, so I recorded the matches and zipped through the scrums and penalties.

Kenny

Has been playing in some of the games from the bench.

Rumoured to be coming back to RL, but I have not seen anything to denied it!

Sonny Bill came on for the last 5 minutes today.
I was hoping he'd be in the starting line up, to entertain the crowd with some good running rugby.
