After looking to be Englands most positive player in the first half,he showed himself to be a bloody liability again

Watched the full 90min of the 1958 World Cup Final the other day. Put these so called superstars to shame. Their overrated and overpaid.

To say he is a halfwit would be an insult to halfwits.

This is not the first time he's shamed our country how can our future young players who class him as a hero be guided by the antics he shows on the field, absolutely pathetic if anyone else performed like that in the job they do how long would they last.

Correct bambam, but i doubt jay/pampers/snuggies will agree with you, he only comments on rugby role models.

saintpat - should that not be 'a silk purse out of a sow's ear'?

As a Utd fan - it is a bit embarrassing when the Manager - Capello - gave a press conference before the match saying that everything was OK with Rooney as regards the charges against his father.

I am just curious as to how this ban will take effect and wonder if Sir Alex may have played a part?

better still, hope it is 3 games, england not good enough, waste of time them turning up. if he had not got a ban he would have played in the friendlies, thats the point.

If the supporters pay the ticket price, if the people who watch the games on SKY pay the fees - DON'T blame the players for taking the pay offered by the clubs.
I'm sure that you would take the 1000s they get paid each day / week if you were offered it - I WOULD.
