Just got the Wigan Evening Post it omly works out at £1 a match extra, not too bad really.They are also fetching out a new home shirt again for next season,what happened to the ones which lasted two seasons a few years ago.its all about money having said that i never liked the pink ones anyway,Could be a retro shirt from the shop instead this time.

What I don't like is the two tier banding in the East and West Stands.

Everyone uses the same bars, food outlets and toilets so why two prices?

These prices are the same for under 16's,who will feel the increase worse than anyone. Its not a big increase,but, with the rising cost of basic food and heating bills in the past 12 months,and, on basic state pension, I have to consider on what to cut back on next. It must be even Harder for parents with young famiies, as a season tkt for an adult was £247.50,and has gone up to £258.50 by direct debit. These prices are RENEWAL prices, so your lookin' at another £30 to £40 for a 1st time buyer

They would even more supporters if they only charged half price for Juniors and Seniors.

so its cheaper to be a latics fan,6% is a big increase especially for pensioners who may rely on interst from their savings to bolster the state pension ,after all the bank of england base rate is still at 1/2 a per cent

in a time of austerity its a big rise ,i,ll keep picking my games be it rugby or footy.

if you look on Wigan fans site their is some suggestion that some 'home games' will be played on the road in Wales as part of the Gareth Thomas deal beware if you are not able to travel

save your money off your 2 jobs......and maybe you might be able to afford to go to some away games and watch the team you call "support"

Fair point Jay, just as a lot of folk didn't bother about the Carling cup, FA cup, European cup, Prem title and Egg cup...

i think support for both clubs is running neck and neck,the rugby used to have more but premier league footy is making a difference.
