the best team won but in my opinion the last scrum when Wigan were awarded the feed should have gone to Leeds as the last player to kick the ball was a wigan player, just like the baby faced assassin (Robert Hicks) to get a decision wrong but nevertheless wigan were deserved victors.

did I spot mester Tomkins giving the Leeds fans a two fingered salute, after the first try ,or am I mistaken.

peawapp, you was not mistaken, i know the leeds fans in the past have give him some stick but that was unproffesoinal. he should be better than that.

I missed the first try but I thought the warriors were home and dried until Leeds got back into the game!
Second half was exciting ,and the warriors shaded it.
The performance wasn't as good as the last few weeks, but a win is a win!
I didn't see the Tomkins victory sign,so I really can't honestly comment!

I was on the edge of mi chair in the second half, and we were a shade lucky with some decisions, but that's the way it goes in all sports. It was a good hard game from both sides and at least there was no dissent at the ref when aforesid decisions were made.It was a credit to the sport...Also a good win for the Latics, let's hope this is the start of things to come.Wiggin should be buzzin' t'neet...

Well done lads, it was a deserved win although it was a bit nail biting at times. As far as the victory sign from Sam, don't hold with that but, the lads only human he's took some undeserved booing from the Yorky's and others. The best way to shut them up is to bring home the cup. Come on the Warriors we want the other one as well.

Great day out.

Shame about all the thrown beer(was drenched twice) and the 'feck the latics' line in the song at the end..

Should have been with us, no beer thrown and only rugby songs because of lack of interest in Football in general
Great if long day but would not have missed it

gud old o'l peawapp is not whinging ,he is merely telling it as it was, if you remember on a thread earlier in the week I told you that I would be cheering for Sam at Wembley because sam supported his mate and Leigh at blackpool, and cheering for sam I certainly was,but you can't escape the fact that the young man needs to grow up a little,I know that sam received stick from the Yarkshiremen, both in the international and also again yesterday, but he should rise above it and become a man.

He did gesture to .....whoever....should and will be reprimanded by the RFL

As for growing up,that was one mistake in his career so far,he will learn, like when he gets his slapped, his ribs kneed, then gets up and simply carries on....what an absolute star.........like it or not
