Latics,WiganRL and Lancashire

August 27th.

The Jayster will be having a little treble on Latics to beat QPR,WiganRL on the handicap to beat Leeds and Lancashire to walk away with the 20/20 trophy.

I'd like to have attended all three but the father in law got my RL ticket yesterday and it looks like i'll be off to Wembley to support WiganRL.

First Latics home game that i'll have missed for many a year..I'll pass my ST's onto my grateful neighbours.

This will be my third WiganRL game of the year.

Who else on here is a genuine fan of both teams?

Rio may claim to be but i've doubts about his legitimacy due to his many anti-latics 'ramblings'.

I think i'm one of the genuine fans who supports both clubs.

Season tickt for the west stand dont pretend to support football but like to see home teams do well and will watch on telly.

This oft mentioned phrase 'i like to see home teams do well'.

But of what use it is to either team,i've no idea.

I support rugby because I find it more entertaining than football.It is as simple as that, I dont get involved in petty disscusions on who has the biggest crowds etc I watch the game it is over and then look foreward to the next one.

I went to the Saints game and the World club challenge too.

Judging by the way WiganRL crowds jump up and down between playing Saints/Warrington and Quins/Wakefield,you could argue that WiganRL have a fair number of glory hunters.

Jay you keep saying youre always in the Springy can you please tell me the Landladys name, bet you dont know it or even where it is cos rugby fans are made to feel unwelcome by most in there

Rugby people are not made to feel unwelcome in the pub at all.There always been far more rugby memorabillia up in there than there has ever been Latics memorabillia in Sams bar.

The Springfield people are the friendliest in Wigan.They also speak with the true Wigan accent.

It's also a Wigan pub for all sports fans.

I was thinking about getting one of the nice cheap Latics season tickets and then I had a thought. What if I got sat next to a daydreamer who thought he went drinking in the Springfield and kept moidering me about his passion for Wigan Rugby, So I said "Sod it, I'll save my money" So I'll just have to be no use to the club at all and just hope they do OK PS does anybody know where I could sell several hundred Latics programmes as I need some more room to store my Wigan Rugby shirts

last time i was in pem,about 6 months ago i went into the norley to catch up with some muckers, i also went into a bookies but according to the low life lying troll i go in the bookies and the norley all the time

so because the low life lying troll probaly only goes in the springy once every blue moon he still tells everyone that he goes in there all the time,hence one of his many names being billy liar

Just when i thought that club couldn't bring anymore shame on my town.
I was thinking of offering the club my support by going to games again
but i've had a rethink.I think that's me done with WiganRL forever.
