Watching the pies in Turkey

Started by: peawapp (5107)

during my holiday in turkey I met some new chums on the beach from Ince and Hindley green, who were very interested in me telling them all about Leigh's magnificent victory at Blackpool,so they invited me to join them in a bar to watch the Wigan v Warrington match,so always the sociable one I agreed to join them although the Mrs wasn't too keen, so I went on my own ,I managed to consume 5 large bottles of Efes during the match, and called into the supermarket on my way back to get the wife some corned beef so she could have a corned beef and tomato sandwich,in the shop I approaced a very attractive girl who was stacking the shelves and said "do you sell corn dog" looking puzzled she shrugged her shoulders and looked at me funny, so I thought I would try some mime, firstly I mimed an ear of corn swaying gently in the breeze, then I started barking like a dog, she looked again and said "are you Joel Monaghan," so I hit upon the idea of asking for a pen and paper and sketched a plate of Lobby, ah she cried and went into the next alley and returned with a tin of princes, so evry one was happy, my new pals from pieland cos wigan had reached the semis,me cos I had just supped 5 pints and the wife cos she had her Corned beef,so pleased was I that I joined my new chums for the Hull wigan match .
