Pride of the town, and the clinching try scored by a Wigan lad. What more could a Wigan sports fan want.

Charnley keeps getting pulled out of position, lack of experience, yea, butwhat an answer toanyone who thought he might have let the team down, turned the game upside down

Charnley is not being helped by not having a natural centre on the inside of him. Joel Tomkins tends to leave him with a bigger gap to cover. Having said that, could it be that Charnley's best posision couuld be at centre where he played when on loan at Hull KR.

As for the game itself, what a advert for the 'minority sport' of Rugby League.

A great win for Wigan's No 1 club in Wigan's No 1 game.

Spot on with J tomkins, but a few times he was in position, and Charnley came in as well, that said here's looking forward to the draw

My opinion from when he first played for Wigan,is that George Carmont is a most underated, but very effective classy centre,my pick for man of the match

What price Wigan / Saints semi pairing

I see that after Tony Smith's moaning about a tackle by Coley that two of his players have been warned by the RL for tackles on Mossop. No caution for Coley so the powers that be mustn't have agreed with Smith.
