farrie50 worst ref i have seen in years I am sure he was using the French rugby union rules version. He was dire.

Brett Finch summed it up by saying 'We were lucky to get away with the result ,they probably did enough to win'

That referee has been impressive this year ,but he wasn't great tonight!

bent ref, forward pass, perfectly good try not given, wigan players leaning on leeds players to long after tackle, and they say rugby league is not fixed, after tonights match. no doubt.

Leeds and Sent Ellins have got away with forward passes for years. You listen to Bill & Ben on Sky and the only team to pass a ball forward is Wigan, those two are a joke. Nearly as bad as Ray French and Jonathon(bleedin)Davies

Open up lad, forward pass,YES,can you decide{course you can} why the try wasnt given
Not saying anything about Richards being taken out TWICE from high balls,OK,Wigan scored from one of them, but got penalised for the first one, come on bryan,I know you are an unbiased expert on RL,

fossil

I think Wigan did more than enough to win,and deserved to win,and that ref ???? I have always said he was Leigh..er sorry..sorry...2nd rated, and always will be

How often is the "forward pass" going to be used as an excuse by the non rugby followers of this town,so as to show their total disgust as to how their "home town" team is doing, get a life talk sense,or simply BUTT OUT

BECAUSE A FORWARD PASS IS ONLY A WIGAN THING AFTER ALL

INNIT ????????

Good two points, considering what the team and supporters had to put up with from a referee who give one of the worse displays you are ever likely to see on a rugby league field.

But, what else can you expect with Cummings in charge. A ex referee who was just as bad himself.

Kenny,
fossil
"I think Wigan did more than enough to win,and deserved to win"

Kenny ,I didn't give my opinion,I just quoted the MOM Brett Finch, and he played!
My opinion Wigan made far too many mistakes and handling errors first half and Leeds took advantage, and thoroughly deseved to lead at half time!
Wigan played well for 20 minutes in the second half, but the rest of it was even with Leeds probably unlucky to lose,so in that respect I agree with Finch

But not the same as being there with the atmosphere.

I feel sure as a Latic's supporter, you would agree with that.

I am not having a go at him, just saying that it is not the same watching a game on television like it is at a ground.

What's your opinion?

And here's me wishing you a good day at the Cricket.

You're being nice on the other thread RD,so i'll add that i'll be at Wembley this year if WiganRL get there.

RD,Latics fans on here are generally very supportive of WiganRL,it would be nice if they were as equally supportive of the Latic.

Ruddy,
I agree about the atmosphere, but sometimes watching tv is more informative unless you happen to be listening to those two idiots Stevo and Hemmings who do the game a disservice with their rants!
Off now to watch my local cricket team, for the atmosphere of course
