i-spy - please give me one good reason why David Beckham should be captain - he isn't good enough to be in any England squad - he can't keep up and he was never really that great - because of his fame he managed to sell a lot of shirts - a good crosser of the ball a good few years ago maybe but hanging on to him and a lot of other players just shows what is bad about the England squad. We need to feed through the younger players and this should have started a long time ago - take Ashley Young for example - played half a match against Switzerland and won Man of the Match. The FA and the more mature players need to face up to this - until England field a younger squad we will never win anything!

what's Beckham done to upset you veg grower. He's a superstar.

nothing love - its just that I don't think he is good enough a player - good for inspiration maybe. I can't believe he still expects to play - he holds the team up.
