it may be because of the current economic climate. Some folk just can't afford to pay even a bit extra these days.Mortgage and food etc must come before tickets.Fair enough to the Latics for realising this, and the loss of ticket holders by putting up prices is hopefully more than covered by the ones that will now buy at this price...
Replied: 24th May 2011 at 22:54
TOM i think he has stated on more than one occasion that if you don't goto every game home/away you are not a fan.
On the other hand he has admitted he never attends live sport.
So really he is speaking abut something he has no experience and no knowledge off.

Why is it that nearly every latics or rugby thread ends up being a screaming match between Jay and Walshy....The original post was just info, not a bloody invitation to world war three...
Replied: 24th May 2011 at 23:23
Bassman,
Notice who starts it.The guy is obsessed and thick.
Come on this is a guy who likes to spend his time stalking me in the springfield or sitting in the pub on his own whilst posting on here.
I'm giving his life purpose. He should be thanking me.
He's my own 'care in the community' project.
Replied: 24th May 2011 at 23:27
I'm not bothered where he is Jay, either rise above it or put him on ignore, it's spoiling a lot of threads when other folk have genuine opinions...and that goes for Walshy as well...sorry for the rant but I'm sure other folk feel the same..plus I must admit you two are not the only ones.

Sorry for the rant but you can't be selective.

As I thought you talk ++ite you don't know how much it costs to follow a team these days
well its a good job proper supporters of proper clubs dont use that as an excuse, does it cost more to watch the smallest club in the premiership,im sure it costs supporters, who follow there team everywhere,a fortune butr they still do it...because they are die hard fans
there a part time supporter an here who claims to have 2 jobs, and still doesnt follow the team hes always spouting about,
ask coco aka fireplace for some advice on how to do it,hes a proper supporter
Come on this is a guy who likes to spend his time stalking me in the springfield or sitting in the pub on his own whilst posting on here.
can you prove that
bassman i cant do no more i have asked the low life lying troll to either back up his comments or take it off site and continue via email but as everyone knows on here he a pathetic coward who only says things because hes behind a keyboard
i just hope his kids,if he as any, dont come on here and see how much of a coward he really his
Replied: 25th May 2011 at 08:45
lol...Jay, ignore him, report him to Brian every time he posts as he only posts negative comments after your posts, ergo proving he is breaking rule numbere one. See what Brian will do about it.

Replied: 25th May 2011 at 09:44
Fixing the prices is necessary to cling on to as many spectators as possible. I wish them well.

Two hundred and ten quid for me,and
fifty quid for a car park pass for the whole season just 100 yards from the ground, mind you I will probably miss a lot of the games through being away, but well worth it to support the tics
Replied: 25th May 2011 at 20:48
£550 for the wife and me £50 for grandson great value for money come on you tics
Replied: 25th May 2011 at 21:05

Replied: 25th May 2011 at 21:15
A great deal Trev.
Replied: 25th May 2011 at 21:39
Such good value, have they sold out yet?
Replied: 27th May 2011 at 20:19
cracking value for money makes me wanna change teams NOT! seriously its great value when the majority of clubs are fleecing their fans
Replied: 27th May 2011 at 20:21
Fair play Whatton,a serious football comment
Replied: 27th May 2011 at 20:56
Very good value for money, but like the Wanderers, only because they can't get bums on seats!
The reason being all the bandwagon jumpers in Wigan and Bolton that support the bigger club's like United where they buy success.
A few years ago, everyone supported the club where they were born and bred or lived.
Replied: 28th May 2011 at 08:34
You put a negative spin on everything Ducky..
Replied: 28th May 2011 at 09:02
jay1
Why make that comment when I am defending the reason why club's like the Latic's and Bolton have to sell cheaper season tickets in order tp get people to watch them.
Try thinking about things for a change instead of just having a go at people.
Seems to be hobby with certain football supporters on here.
Replied: 28th May 2011 at 09:43
This is how i see you Ducky.
