course it is Kenny Widnes are now in the non relegation League and will remain there forever or until Rugby league is done away with which the way that Dickie Lewis and Co are performing will be sooner rather than later

dead right there ruddy but I'm sure that Mester Millward would have done them a good job better than Betts anyway,Ian is a proven super league coach with lots of trophies with Saint helens,he is presently doing a terrific job at Leigh in the Championship, Betts will remain with the mutants because it really doesn't matter whether they win lose or draw because they can't be relegated the sport is a laughing stock

no sour grapes I like to watch Championship Rugby League all I am saying is that any super league team can lose every match they play all season and still remain in super league it just isn't right. talk to supporters of any other sport and they will laugh at the situation that super league finds itself in this is the price we pay for having idiots in charge of our sport a laughing stock is what we are

As I understand its a three season non relegation programme to try and allow teams to build a sucsessful side if they dont acheive this in the allotted time they are relegated and another championship side is nominated.Wasnt leigh on e of the favouites this year?

Peawapp wont even mention the NRL,I'm sure they have promotion, and relegation dont they,or dont they get a mention, because of a certain team that dont play over there

I fear that you have been taken in by Richard Lewis and Co,you surely aren't so naive as to think that anyone else will get into super league now that they have announced a franchise system do you cos I fear that they wont, the only teams that will be allowed in will be from France, Ireland,Wales or Scotland, the protected species i.e. the present super league teams plus the mutants from widnes will be there forever, and the heartland clubs i.e. Leigh,Halifax. Featherstone,Barrow,Whitehaven and the like will be sunk without trace, I'm afraid that the sport is dying on it's feet.

Leigh did not apply this time, but I suspect that if they complete all the ticks in the next three years, they will apply next time.

we learned our lesson ruddy when super league came into existence in the nineties they selected the teams to compete by the chairmen voting for the participants and we know that Leigh were let down by the wigan chairman at the time uncle Mo of the soft voice voting against Leigh's entry, anyway we have to tick the box of winning some silverware which we should do in the next three years, the crowd part of it we can get round by frauding just like Halifax did and the turnover part we can get over by frauding just like Widnes did, however we have as you know already had a season in the sun in the super league when we defeated London broncos and we defeated Wakefield trinity wildcats and drew with Hull after being robbed by wigans favourite ref Mr Ganson, but I know you have been to the sports village and to be truthful as you know it's a problem exiting the stadium so I wonder if we aren't better off in the championship were we now win most of our games in it,I am happy enough where we are now but I know my grandkids and their mates want super league, but to be truthful if they do when they get older there is as you know from Leigh just a few minutes ride away Wigan.Warrington.ST Helens,Widnes and Salford,to go to but I will be happy myself watching Leigh in the championship as all my memories are at the old ground to be honest I find the new place to be a cold and an impersonal place,my Grandkids memories will all be at the sports village. and maybe one day they will see Leigh in the super league but I honestly think that Leigh's time along with the rest of the pioneering clubs time as gone and I find it sad, but good luck to the pie eaters they are a good team please take all my comments about them in good spirit because peawapp isn't daft and he knows his rugby I know Wigan are one of the best

Only pointing out that Leigh did not apply this time and if it is any consolation to you, I do watch the Leigh games on television.

But not United unless it is a Cup Final.

pea all you have stated is pure speculation wait and see and if your correct THEN blow your trumpet.i have been to the village and was well pleased with what i saw compared with the shed that was saints ground, how the most successful club in recent years continued to play there while clubs like widnes warrington and leigh had new grounds beats me.
