The pass created the chance, a bit of class, and the luck of the bounce from the kick was on our side, good finish to the game.

Huddersfield pass the ball brilliantly and whe attacking stand at 45 degrees..they make good yards..Wigan are a little flat on attack…sometimes luck wins games…and thankfully today it was on our side…our centres are out of the game…the Leulai pass was just like mick fords when Henderson scored 1985….

Whups,

Because, the decision for the winner of the Lance Todd, Harry Sutherland and the Ray French trophies should be only decided and announced after games have finished.

I agree with you, apart from scoring a great try, kicking three goals, relieving pressure with long kicks downfield and at the end creating the try from which Marshall won the game for Wigan should have made Smith the winner of the trophy.

Absolute joke McQueen winning it, but it is not the first time, it has happen!

Harry was outstanding,my mom by a country mile.
And apart from a couple of high shots Morgan Smithies had a blinder, god knows how many tackles this kid got through.

From what I understand, the press reporters present at the game.

And I fully agreed with you about Wigan needing two top class more experienced Centres, but not so sure about needing a Stand Off as Cush in my opinion is not all that bad in the position, even though I questioned his signing in the close season.

Joe Maplin

Smithies is and always has been the best tackler in the club and should always be the Loose Forward, but Peet and O'Loughlin need to do something about his high tackling as it is making him a target for the match officials and match review panel.

IMO Cade Cust does some good things but he isn’t in the game too much for a stand off…I never heard him or Thornley mentioned in the second half…Thornley is suspect in defence…I know he got cropped early on and Cust took a bad knock…but they are not for me….good job Leulai took out both centres with that pass to Harry…yeah Smithies needs to think a little better….too many penalties given and the scored twice from them

the side looks a lot more balanced with Cust on the field, takes
the pressure of Harry.

Another little gripe…why does Bateman always look to the ref when playing the ball…he slows the flow down…seems his only nemesis but it must irritate his coaches (sometimes)

You hardly hear anything about any of our players when they are in Australia.

No doubt, the same can be said in Australia about their players in our country.

As for Gildart not being good or big enough for the NRL, the same could be said for some of the players from down under who come here!

I have only said that I cannot understand why Cust was signed when we had Field, French, Leuluai and Smith to fill the half back positions.

As for Centres, it would appear that England Coach Wane considers Kellum Walters and Jake Wardle better than Bibby, Isa and Thornley which tells you something about the strength of our "experienced" Centres.

Talking of the England Coach, I fail to see how he can ignore in form Harry Smith and Ryan Hall ahead of Liam Marshall for the game against the Combined Nations.

Field and French aren't half backs. Have they a history of playing there? I don't think Isa is even English so he couldn't be chosen.
