A Yorkshire Coach is no good for a Lancashire club.

Remember Maurice Bamford at Wigan!

Great Coach for Halifax, but did nothing at Wigan.

The only good thing he did was bring Mick Scott to the club who was a good back row forward for us.

Right there O.C. but do you remember the full back Bamford brought as well. Jimmy Birts the worst player ever to wear the Cherry and White jersey for me.

And Centre Steve Nicholson.

But Mick Scott was alright and when he retired, joined amateur club Siddal as a Coach where Wigan get some young players like Morgan Smithies.

Owd Codger / Also remember Brian Noble ? 2006-09 season
games 91 won 49 drew 4 lost 38 W%54 Not really good stats are they ?
I watched a few games over the week-end and it hurts me to say this i am totally unimpressed with the whole set up of our great game , i mean come on it was the CHALLENGE CUP , but there was no razza matazz !!Doing the draw for the next round on the pitch !It looked so tatty and amateurish , when the F.A.CUP draw is on it is more exciting and done in a more professional manner ,i honestly believe we need to get someone from USA at how they promote their sport's ,so has to get fan's interested again in this game of rugby league ...GB

Golden Bear,

The Super League clubs no longer play as many games cup rounds as they use to.

I use to love going away to games at places like Barrow, Batley, Dewsbury Keighley, Whitehaven, Workington etc.

And they looked forward to the likes of Leeds, St Helens and Wigan coming to their grounds.

Last weekends games at Barrow and Whitehaven proving the pouint
