Bolton away

The day has come, we lock horns again in the League with Bolton Wanderers. A massive game with local bragging rights at stake. Not my favorite ground to go to but should be a 6 point spectacle of a game. Just off for my flu jab to accompany the Covid 3 I had yesterday then away we go. Predictions anyone ?

0-4, a hell of a game. Wigan could have had 6 and there couldn't have been any complaints. Bolton could be in trouble with the FA due to an element of their fans in the Crazy Corner throwing bottles and missiles onto the pitch as we were trying to take a corner. Game was stopped for 10 mins. Not good.

On our way to THE CHAMPIONS we drove through Blackrod, hundreds of "tasty" looking lads being followed by Police, presumably Latics fans but no colours whatsoever, walking in the opposite direction of the stadium. If they were Latics fans they didn't seem to know where they were going, strange as it's only a couple of miles from Wigan. I suspect there was trouble today.

I've just watched the video that Bolton fan made at the game the Latics support was brilliant but also stupid by ripping those hoardings down

The ' Crazy Corner ' lost it and started throwing missiles, some of which hit our player trying to take a corner and the ref. To be fair to their players, they were trying to clear the pitch of debris to get the game going again. Our upper tier support did Wigan no favour's ripping the the hoardings down. They then proceeded to throw them onto us, in the lower tier. Very clever.

The spirit and fight within the team is immense at the moment, a testament to the Management. They're not getting too carried away, one game at a time.
