Well i was more than relieved as pleased with the 3 point's on Saturday at the London Stadium. For the Hammer's always seemed to be one of the bogy teams more so on their ground i thought we played very well, but seriously i do have to comment on the decisions the ref made in not giving at the very least two penalties all involved the special one Ronaldo the first and the third were cast iron the middle i would maybe let that by but those two ,,,,the mind boggles all and his dog agreed even those with the axe to grind against united , At the same time congrat's to david de gea exceptional save so round one to us round two on Wednesday in ELF CUP then the VILLA on Saturday 12.30 K.O ..GB

Re the reverse fixture cup game.

Always a good little knock about to get the second team some minutes under their belt is the Mickey Mouse Cup.
One never taken too seriously by the big clubs.
There is a rumour doing the rounds though that one manager of a club with very little history got told in jest that if he won enough of them they are equal to one Champions League and since no one has had the heart to tell him otherwise.

Given the choice of entering this cup or not I think most top clubs would refuse it as some think it is a hinderance to winning bigger trophies. But It's not fair sometimes if the reserves and kids they play get through to the last eight or semi finals as suddenly they take it serious and drop the kids that got them there.

peter the kids in the under 23s played bradford in the group stage of this comp the night before & very few could have played ? .

Quite correct about this particular trophy, it's been staggering about on it's last legs for years ( certainly the last 4 )
I think the French League ditched their second domestic cup at the beginning of this season.
It's only a matter of time before it gets relegated to memory like the old Anglo Italian Cup and folk will soon forget who won it when

Perhaps next season will be a good time to ditch it given the fact its a world cup year when the P L will shut down for aprox 6 weeks .
