GB, judging from his media interviews Southgate seems to be aware of his questionable penalty taking choices and if we are all honest, we were probably surprised to see England still in the game come penalties time.

Southgate seems to be a nice chap and has moulded an above average team into a credible unit so fair play to him. Yesterday though was quite baffling at times, Rashford and Grealish should have replaced Kane and Mount at around 60 minutes.

Having said all that he has managed to get England alot further than most other managers so he must be doing something right.

Southgate is far too conservative when England score first in important games…he should take more risks to score the second goal…god we have enough forward talent for them to be playing defensive roles when 1-0 up
