It was quite a frustrating match as Villareal defended for long periods of the match and Utd failed to break down the defence. It reminded me of the many England matches which ended in the same way.
Ole definitely made some strategic moves, such as replacing players in the closing minutes as it became clearer that it was going to go to penalties.
Sadly, Villareal had their shooting boots on and put 11 penaltyshots into the back of the net. And! Some of those shots weren't that great - some aimed at the middle and hoped for the best.
United was the better team, but Villareal players and fans are the ones celebrating.

I was hoping for both Cups to end up in Manchester.
