Yoonited v Siddy

I cannot make me mind up which of those two have the best stadium, and I have been to both of them, the former 2002 Commonwealth Games Stadium or the Theatre of Dreams ?

I have been reliably informed that the DW Stadium, is the Arena of Skills

No contest Tommy old Trafford is cramped and falling to pieces city's ground is more spacious and modern if the Trafford fans are honest they would agree with everything I've said...

Tommy one is a football stadium steeped in history that has hosted most of the greatest players who have ever kicked a ball at one time or another and one is an athletics stadium, hope that answers your query.

Did Marcus Bent play there when he was with your beloved Latics then?
Didn't have him down as one of the greatest myself though.

Well TTS, You have asked which is the best ground ,and after giving it a lot of thought i have to agree with ( CHATTY) that OLD TRAFFORD is the better of the two , and yes it was an athletic venue firstly which was sponsored my manchester council for the commonwealth games , then they let city move in for a song !Which annoyed me at the time and still does for i wrote and objected to a section of my council rates helping subsidise a football club. Also as for you LG sayng that O/T is cramped and falling to pieces , is absolutely ridiculous , i have been on the stadium tour besides going the matches and i just don' know were you are coming from with those remarks . Finally O/T IS TOTALLY STEEPED IN HISTORY AND IS THE IDEAL PLACE TO HOLD SUCH A PRESTIGE EVENT and think that city should be honoured in playing there . G.B.

You are quite correct about one thing though you never mentioned Bent.
But then again you have never ever mentioned any Latics player ever, no surprise there though because you probably didn't know any of their names.
Your glory hunting season ticket was bought then you could see players like Giggs and Ronaldo.
When the United fans were singing "you've only come to see United" at the DW they were aiming it straight at you.

My season ticket holder friend for many years at United tells me that the stadium at Old Trafford is coming apart at the seams through a severe lack of maintainance.
Don't be fooled by the reception area looking smart.
His words!!

Fossil,
An article in the Mail on Sunday today regarding all the structural problems at OT.

Golden Bear, why the question marks? Apologies for omitting the word friend but I would have thought his words would have been self explanatory. Now edited.
I would have thought the heading and TTS's initial comment would explain my offering, albeit comments about OT by my friend a United season ticket holder.

Thanks broady,I have just seen the article!
Not very complimentary about the stadium is it.
I knew about the infestation of rodents on the playing surface as that has been happening for a long time.
No chance of me purchasing any food there, if ever I have to go again.
It seems like investment on the stadium by the Glazers has been negligible since they took over.

My idea with this topic, is not as to the physical 'state' of each stadium as they are today, but as the stadiums were originally conceived and put into use, and the experience gained from using those stadiums, as patrons of the clubs who use those stadiums

Tom I think you got the effect you was looking for when you posted this topic.

Let me guess what your next one will be:
If Wolverhampton Wanderers started a Rugby League club would it be better than Wigan Warriors....discuss.
