OLE

Started by: GOLDEN BEAR (6556)

I see united have offered OLE a new contract £ 9 million a year not bad i have only 1 but he must start being a bit ruthless with woodward if not i will be the first to be saying farewell , As for todays game against west ham i see we have no out and out strikers due to injuries again ,,MARTIAL,RASHFORD,CAVANI , and what is very alarming there is not a sniff of POGBA just what the hell is up with the guy i ask a bruise thigh 4/5 so far so ole if you want to earn that 9 mill sort it out and quick taking so long with a knock on the thigh is just not on I think they might struggle today for the hammers are playing well of late so we will seee!!!!!!

Good luck to him he has earned it.

I still like the chap, I have said in the past that he seems like a nice bloke. It's just a shame he is at utd as I feel compelled to dislike him.

I like Jose too as a character, always did, even when he was at OT.

Difference is though Ole is utd whereas Jose was a hired gun.

Thanks broady oversight by me and time to eat humble pie ( again) i see they manages a win it seemed hard work though . Whups i appreciate what you say about pogba's agent but my concern is why is he not playing?? surely a bruised thigh should not take this long plus the international break is coming soon thats more time for him away .
And dongb , Me i really wanted JOSE to stay and take over from ALEX but we all know they did not release funds for who he wanted to buy.
ALSO did anyone read lately about one of the greedy bastard glaziers he just offloaded millions of shares and pocketed around £ 70/80 million straight into his bank book ,and not a crumb for united ,

truth be known alan that he does,nt want to play for the club . there,s been nothing but trouble since he signed & the sooner he,s gone the better the club will be .

Just as Fergie did Ole will defend his players in public but i understand he is seething at the Pogba situation .
I do hope he is moved on in the summer transfer period and we spend wisely on a top midfield player ..

I notice that LAUGHING GRAVY has picked up on my comments about the glaziers making a huge profit by off -loading millions of shares and he does not have to pay united a brass bean!!!! HE is a bit late with that information though ....
Also i see that DONNY VAN BEEK has had enough and wants out obviously we dont know the full facts but one thing is correct he has had barely a sniff at playing i can
understand his feelings for his absence is going to jeopardise his hopes to represent his country .

OLE has a problem .
He knows very clearly that his back four are not good enough and need protection.
Just look were fred and scotty normally recieve the ball from maguire or lindelof .
Way way too deep .Coaches know this and adopt the hard press tactics .I m o thats why we fail to create as many chances as we should .
We need a class c b and midfielder .
You cant rely on pogba or lindelof so need replacing .
Keep the faith .

guys it,s now come to light about the 9 mill contract . they have offered it & commented that it doesnt matter if he doesnt win any trophies ? . i think they really need to reassess that deal because i cant see any cups comming to old trafford this year or in the near future under this mamagement .

whups its obvious the glazers are not bothered about cups, thats why ole said what he said last week, the glazers got him to say it to divert the flack, they are only interested in the money rolling in! as long as ole keeps getting top 4 he'll be there decades like wenger was at arsenal...

I see today the increase in OLE'S wage has gone up to £ 30 million over 36 months and have apparently added it does not matter if he does not win any silver wear this year ,, i think that remark stinks from ed the wood !

Extracting the urine out of the faithful that spend their hard earned monies following the team. Disgraceful.

Replied: 26th Mar 2021 at 13:35

The faithful that follow the team matter very little to the Glazers, they are happy to feed on the notoriety from past glories. The worldwide armchair fanbase who buy all the merchandise are the ones who they are aiming at and as long as they keep buying, the bean counters are happy. Top clubs rely on sponsorships from around the world and those sponsorship companies are only interested in the armchair fans in their own territories not the match going fan.

Only problem is, the longer utd go without being top dogs the more armchair fans will jump off the bandwagon and if they subsequently jump on another bandwagon the sponsors will follow them.

It is vital that utd win trophies to keep the bandwagon greased.

like it or lump it the saudi's are the owners you wish you had, people on here criticise their human rights yet those same people have not mentioned the goings on in china syria and myanmar but that doesnt fit in with their agenda!

Eh
The 'agenda' you speak of on here is Premier League football.
Which of the rulers of those countries metioned above have bought a Premier League club with the sole intention of
whitewashing their image internationally?

oh so human rights abuse is ok so long as its not premier league or whitewashing related? its such a shame more despots dont own PL clubs then their crimes would certainly be broadcast on here, unless such despots owned MUFC then they would be lauded, i'm sorry chatty but i do not believe you would turn your back on the club you've obviously loved for over 50 years just because some filthy rich arab took over..

I think LG could be right about the glazers, as long as ole can get top 4 the money keeps coming in, every cup match ole changes the team to be weaker and give games to other squad players saving his strongest team for the league,
It all boils down to money.

so lg do you approve of the terrible human rights inflicted by the saudis ? . a regime who chop off hands & imprison their own daughters . is that ok with you ? .

To be fair LG, there is probably not a top team in Europe who hasn't inadvertently taken the King's shilling without inside knowledge on what a sponsor may or may not be involved in. utd and all clubs would be foolish to court a sponsor who is involved in questionable activities.

All fans from all clubs would do well to keep their own council for fear of unknown issues coming to the fore.

I don't blame or accuse utd or other clubs for their sponsorship activities, it is their choice.

Finally, I am only going off your replies to their posts which I cannot see, so if any respondents haven't accused City or anyone else of sportswashing etc then please accept my apologies for grasping the mucky end of the stick.

I have deleted much of the above as I had promised myself (yet again) not to get into the negative "tit for tat" discussions which have for so long been non productive. However, as we all know it is all too easy to get embroiled.

Have a pleasant evening.
