Just getting ready to watch a replay of El Matador, who with one sweep of his cape put the bullock on his backside and a sword through the heart of the Everton net, on Match of the Day.

Chatty,
Great goal unless you had 2-1 on the coupon.

Cavani is pure class.
His movement off the ball is the best ive seen for a while.
I M O he should start in place of Martial .
Spread the faith .

Have to agree with you grimshaw, martial not good enough at centre forward, hides to much, him and rashford kept losing the ball, fred is a grafter but he gets knocked off the ball to easy, also sell pogba as soon as possible, does not look interested.

I concur t c .
Pogba totally disinterested .Needs to go in January.
We still gave the ball away needlessly v Everton .
We need Shaw and W B to get forward and cross more .Cavani will provide the finish as R V N did
with Beckham and Giggs on the flanks
Watched the chelsea wingbacks v sheff utd .They got forward on Chelsea attacks .
Keep the faith .

grim i never wanted him to come back to the club after stabbing them in the back . your right about cavani & if martial was in his position y/day he would have wandered offside. i,d like to see him start for once .

United have to start with cavani soon, much better than martial at centre forward, good target man who can hold the ball up.

Spot on T C.
Martial has a good game every Preston guild .
Little or no movement...In fact the whole team suffer from lack of movement except Cavani who must surely start Tuesday .
I would go with him and either rashy or greenwood up front .

Beyond me whups.
Ole clearly loves him.
I was trying to remember the last time i watched Utd and thought martial is playing well tonight.
Perhaps you can recall whups.
Should win tonight comfortably .
Keep the faith .

I do concur whups.
He does seem to have blind spots regarding certain players.
He talks up pogba at every opportunity but again i cant recall when he had anything what you would call a good game.
Fergie always stood by his players in public but we know he gave them real bollockings at carrington.

There we go. Cavani up front and Martial and Rashford wide. Van De Beek starts. Looking forward to the game. As an added bonus I do wish Martial would actually look as though he is enjoying the game.

Comfy win .
But we can do much much better.
Again the passing was at times sloppy particularly fred.
Cavani was a breath of fresh air.
His link up play with d v b and movement off the ball was terrific .
They must start again next game ..
Martial does look a mardy sod .

Cavani, class always shows, what a player, has to start from the off in future, causes defences all kinds of trouble, hope LG has not put his foot through the TV.

Been harping on for weeks about Cavani.
He has scored at every club he played for .Movement is terrific .Wont score many from out the box but give him a sniff inside .
Proves one thing at least .
There is no substitute for class .

Grimshaw,
I am sure there was no intent but as you say, in the current climate, the FA will no doubt act. The world is going mad around us. I read of the BBC suspending a commentator for using the term “ handbags” when there was a bit of a skirmish. I think it is a good job there are no crowds at games because I think they would have been quite vociferous in their views of all this kneeling before every game. Time to give it a rest.

Very good goal. Somehow I think six matches plus from the judiciary. In the current clime where you daren’t even mention blackbirds he will get no mercy.

Firefox, cavani was a target for some rough stuff from the everton players, south Americans are known for their short tempers, they knew they would get a reaction, mina was holding onto him and cavani tried to get away . Justice was done in the end, a great goal.

Spot on T C.
Ancelotti had clearly told them to wind him up early doors and obviously we have no idea whats being said .
I did wonder during the game if o g s had put a rocket up pogbas arse given he covered more ground than he has done for ages and he decided to put himself in the shop window re the january transfer circus .

I wasn’t referring to his tête-à-tête last night but his “racist” comment. Mind you a player of his vast experience should know better than raise his hands whatever the provocation.

I hope Edinson has a better disposition to disiplinary panels than King Eric or he could be out for a while.
He once went along a panel when up in France in his younger days calling everyone of them a sh%tbag.

A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone on here including the Bertie and the obsessive, see that rising star in the sky?..........it's Ole's.

( I'm sure the last part of this post will get "bookmarked" and reposted in the unlikely event of things turning sour )

Bitter Bertie or what!
The bloke used a word that is a term of endearment in his own country whilst posting a thank you to someone who had paid him a compliment.
The moment it was pointed out it could be conceived as racist in this country he deleted the post and apologised.
I'm sure you would have had him deported given the chance.

Look again at the goals CAVANI has scored when he has started.
Name one forward with better movement off the ball than him.
You will struggle..
