Utds imminent signing of Cavani is an astute move .
El matador is a proven top striker and goal scorer .He will join the most trophy winning side in english football history.

Rated by every top coach in Europe .

Eat your heart out berties .

"Eat your heart out berties ."

Did you really type that without your tongue in your cheek?

If City would have wanted a has been cast off who is 34 in a few months time on almost a quarter of a miliion pounds per week then he would be in a City shirt.

Having said that he is a decent player and it would have been a good stop gap signing to play until our strikers are back fit.

City mainly sign young players with a long future, because as we know the future is Blue!

Cavani is a has been player at a has been club

You do make me chuckle oyears.

Having watched the berties yesterday v leeds i would opine they are in dire need of a top striker .
Mark my words this will prove to be a terrific signing .

We aren't in dire need of a top striker, in fact we have two. The problem is both of them are injured so our only option is a 17 year old Delap. We are in need of a bit part striker who can stand in when the main strikers aren't available. That would be where Cavani would come in.

I'm certain he will be a very good temporary signing as long as he can stay fit at his age.

Until they sort out the defence they could have Pele up front and they would still lose.

A greater statement of fiction hasn't been seen on this board for a while.

Lindelof out and Bailly in. We’ll see if that makes a difference. Enjoy the game.

No team would be as good without Aguero up front.

State the obvious why don't you?

Aguero is in a different class to Cavani and an integral part of the team for almost ten years. Cavani is a different type of player than Aguero in both style and stature and makes use of his speed, power and athleticism, all of which is on the wane. City play a different game to trafford who no doubt will now play a lump it up to Cavani formation.

Oyears .
You are surely extracting the urine when you say Auguero is different class to Cavani .
Look at cavanis record why dont you .?
Up there with the best for years .
Disapointed in you oyears .
Thought you better that that .

Errrrrmmmm......I don't think so!!

Cavani won a domestic cup in Italy, the league in Uruguay (once), Copa America and everything on offer in a league that St. Wilfred's womens under 12's second eleven would wipe up!

Aguero won the Uefa Supercup and Uefa League with Atletico, two under 20 World Cups and everything on offer in the most competitive league in world football.

Cavani isn't fit to lace Aguero's boots.

I'm disappointed in you Grim, I thought you were better than that.

Clearly we will need to agree to disappoint oyears .
I recall the overated Aguero being hooked by pep on more than one occasion and replaced by the equally overated Jesus .
Aguero is a class or three behind el matador .

If my back door was leaking badly I would get that fixed rather than buying a new front door.

" overated Aguero"

Now I KNOW you are on the wind up!

"el matador"

Ey up, we're off. I suppose he always dreamt of pulling on the shirt as a kid too.
