A PAL AS ASKED ME A QUESTON I DO NOT KNOW THE ANSWER TO SO I SAID I WOULD ASK W W,,,SHE HIS INSURED TO DRIVE MY FRIENDS CAR BUT NOW MY FRIEND LICENCE WANTS RENEWING AND SHE NO LONGER DRIVES DOES SHE HAVE TO GIVE HR LICENCEE UP OR WHAT OH ITS A MINEFIELD, SHE DOENT WANT TO LOOSE HER CAR AND OH IVE SAID TO HER ITS A MINEFIEL IF HER DRIVER DECIDES TO LEAVE SHE HS TO START ADVERISING AGAIN, I AM GOING IVE GOT HER SCREAMING AT ME THEN TEARS I CANNOT ADVISE HER ASI DONT KNOW, THERE ARE NO BUSES OR ANY TRANSORT WHERE SH LIVES, OH I AM GOING

ELIZABETH IT DOES NOT MATTER IF YOUR FRIEND HAS A DRIVING LICENCE. THE PERSON WHO IS DRIVING YOUR FRIENDS CAR MUST HAVE A DRIVING LICENCE AND BE INSURED TO DRIVE THAT CAR OR IF IT IS A MOTABILITY CAR THEN THEY MUST BE NAMED AS THE NOMINATED DRIVER FOR THAT CAR.

no its her own car but she i think pays for the person to driv it
i have rung her and asked it is her car and hires the person to drive her, it is a AUTOMATIC and is her own car but she said she has been told because it is taxed in her name and pays the person to drive her but she has been told as she cannot drive it herself she cannot tax it,she is goiing do lally thinking she canot relicence it even though she owns it

Most insurance companies will not insure a car unless your friend has a driving licence even though she owns the car if I was her I would contact DVLA and ask them about a licence and explain to them why she needs one.
