WW1 LETTERS FROM STANLEY CORSELLIS RANDALL
I have printed a book, showing letters home from Ypres, of my Grandfather Stanley Corsellis Randall MM of Appley Bridge 1882-1962, to his wife Bessie Jane Randall. There is also the War Diary for the 12th Light Railway Company RE and lots of photographs of the Randall Family and soldier pictures. I am waiting for Brian to put the PDF on the book reading screen - under Stuff. This is FYI. Christine

Hi Jazzy
Long project putting everything into book form and then getting 4 copies printed. A little worried that I sent PDF to Brian at WW a week ago and heard nothing back. Will have to give another poke. Also put together and had printed 15 copies a book called Light and Shade which is my Grandparents life in Appley Bridge from 1891 - 1919 when Grandpa came back from Ypres. Thanks for your interest.

Hi there is the Randall's of Appley Bridge related to the Randall's of the early 1960s-70? If so i used to pull in there every Tuesday's and Friday's to top my mobile butcher's shop and serve the owner with meat, his name was ? i think Harry?Bill? a very nice bloke !

Hi I am John Randall Barbour;SCR above was our grandfather. As a boy I would be put on a bus in Wigan market square on a Saturday morning and the conductor would put me off at Randall's Corner to spend the week-end with him and granny. He was a very good kind bloke who made a big impresson on us all and sadly missed. He lived in Old Mill House.
ps there was a Harry Randall and a Bob Randall connected with the shop.
