yea that will be her she was in a wheel church for a long time. she was a really good singer and was asked to sing at some famous places but my grandad wanted her to stay at home and look after kids. which is how it was in them days. ive been told that she could of made a real name for herself

hi my name is colin blakeley,i used to live at thirteen thirlmere ave.i believe your granny used to live at the corner of thirlmere #23 i think.she sang at my wedding june 26 1971 at st bills.your dad probably remembers me i know my brother peter see`s him from time to time.my wife and i gail are still married and live near toronto canada, close to niagara falls.I had heard that your gran could have achieved a great career as a professional singer. But from the memories i have of her,she achieved much, much more.she had a wonderfull spirit and dedicated her life to her family, whom she loved very much, as well as her service to her church.her voice was incredible,it was always moving to listen to her.we invited her to the reception, but she declined, and explained she needed to go and look after your grandad.it was a privelidge to have known her.my grandma mary griffitths used to visit with her, after she came to visit us.the world needs more people like her.all the best for the coming season. sincerely colin blakeley.
