Looking for a very old friend of mine by the name of Jimmy Fillingham. Dont know if he is on line but if he is, he may remember when we all used to go out together, Jackie Johnson , Frankie Lowe, Kevin Murray, Jackie Smith. We all used to meet in the Amberswood Tavern, By the way, I am one of the Whittles. If you are on line James drop a line I would love to hear from you again.

Im not sure what his wifes name is benty old son. Last I heard he was living somewhere up Whelly way. He used to work at Redland Tiles but I suppose he is like the rest of us ,retired, gentlemen of leisure, or last of the summerwine men. We all went our separate ways in the early 60s.

Busy bee and colbloggs, you have hit on the correct Jimmy Fillingham, He did live in Thirlmere ave, in fact his brother still lives there. I used to live in Island row which is at the bottom of Petticoat lane, sadly our house was demolished to make way for the new road up to Morrison's, Busy bee you don't Know if he has access to a computer do you I wouldn't mind having a chat with him again.

Hi aitch, his younger daughter was a friend of mine. Don't see much of her now but if you go to Wigan Infirmary anytime ask for Sharon on the Orthopaedic Out-patient desk, I'm sure she'll put you on to her dad.
