Was that "The Brickmakers" on Woodhouse Lane or "The Bricklayers" on Hallgate?

Hi art, I'm not sure if that is the same salon as I haven't lived in wigan for 20 years but Harry was in Hallgate when we were home last year. His surname is Melling. He has been a hairdresser for many many years and a very good one at that. Regards Sydneylass

I went in the Brick ! Barbara had it after Yvonne, then Korina. My son's Dad was good freinds with the McCann's and Walshy's brother. It has been shut down for a while now. I miss the Brick sometimes we had many a laugh in there. I know Jeff Sedgwick who is the laziest chap in Wigan because I had a son to him who is now nine and is a credit to me and his lazy Dad. I woudn't change him for the world and Jeff although lazy has not got a bad bone in his body and loves his son more than anything in the world.

We used to go in the 'Brick' on Friday nights. There was a piano in there with a HUGE padlock keeping the lid shut! I think it was there to stifle the would-be virtuosos from having a go!
