Anyone remember Kellogg international
Corporation? they were in Abram . I worked there in the late 60s.As a Trainee Draughtsman. Didn't stay as It was sort of boring to me and I whistled a lot which didnt go down to well with the seniors. Great memories

I certainly remember it. There were a lot of Abramers worked there. They also had a football team who played at the back of Abram Labour Club.

Stuart, I enjoyed tech drawing at school, but I found being tied to the office a bind I settled on sales as career.

@ xxstuartxx. Sorry for the long delay in answering. I did for a time and I help my kids now , but everything seems different now, All auto cad and other computerized drawing. My wife on the other hand is a fashion designer, and still does very technical drawings that are most interesting.Especially the patterns.

I worked for a small industrial sheet metal factory in Skelmersdale. Wasn't much good at welding kept welding my job to a bench. Or the rod sticking to the job. When i was gas welding I had not got a clue.
They put me back in the office again...... Seems I always ended up in the office....
