Skippy
Doe's anyone remember the chap who used to walk round Wigan market.
We called him Skippy,He always had a black brief case with him.
Why he was called skippy I dont know. I heard at one time that he was a Doctor Who had been struck off and was living rough in Wigan.

Yes, I remember him.....boy did he stink! It was a shame for him really, I used to see him taking food from bins...YUK!! They used to take him in somewhere every so often and clean him up. Wonder what happened to him!

If it is the same one, and I think it is. I know a gang of lads beat him up very badly one night. He died shortly afterwards. It was a shame really he never did anyone any harm.
