Can anyone see on Ancestry the name Sheila Fearon looking for info on Mary Elizabeth or Elizabeth Mary Foster living in Canada family tree ? Thank you

There is a Sheila Feron born 27 August 1922 in Canada went to Washington in 1923. married Jesse Christian Olsen in 1941 in Washington. Parents were born in Scotland

Anne Sorry if this is going over odl ground, but you seem to be a bit confused as to which way round Elizabeths first name are, she was definitely born as MARY ELIZABETH the daughter of Joseph Foster and Margaret Mithcthinson,
Her marriage to Walter doesnt seem to have lasted vey long, on the 1901 Census Walter is with his mother and his son Richard , whilst Mary and daughter Jane are boarding with a family in Aspull, it is very doubtful that Jane was the daughter of Walter? she was born as Jane Elizabeth Foster in 1893 and baptised at the Parish Church , father not named?? . the son Richard as you know was killed during the war , but I believe there was a son from his marriage also called Richard born after Richards death.
Walter was also born out of marriage , as his supposedly father died in 1870 and is buried at St. Davids Aspull, Walter was born 1872? again baptism does not name a father??
Sorry cant help with the Canadian connection ,unable to find her on the passenger list for any clues it may give?

Hi yes I am aware of what you have written. Mary Elizabeth Foster had Jane when she was 17 and she only married Walter after and they had Richard. She left the children and Walter to go to Canada. I have the ships log. Seems she reverted back to Foster but on ships paperwork she is down as Mary Stewart!
I also have the details of her death. We have been told that she had other children in Canada but not managed to trace them yet. Thank you for helping.

Do you mind if I ask , but how did you confirm that Mary Stewart was Mary Foster? (baffled)

Hi I have seen in the ships entry list that her contact in England was Joseph Foster at the address 3 Preston St Ince as being her father. In Canada on death certificate she is shown as Elizabeth Mary Foster (single) ?
