Does anyone know the history of the Philanthropic Buildings, Harvey Lane, Golborne. I think that some of my family lived there around about 1900?

In 1939 John Fletcher, his wife Ellen and 3 children lived here. One family member was omitted because they were outside the criteria for listing when the records were made public.
In 1911 they were living at 369 Bolton Road, Ashton. John Charles Fletcher was born in Buckley, Flintshire, a blacksmith by occupation.

Roy

Your mum was the one omitted when the records were made public.
The other children were Joseph born 1909, Maurice born 1915 and Frederick born 1921.
