heard at the weekend Keith garswood had passed away. RIP Keith.
Anybody who lives in Ashton will know him he cleaned the shop windows in Ashton for as long as I remember.

i knew him for around 40yrs . i used to drink & have a go on the karaoke with him . he,s been on a trip of ours when we went to majorca from bryn club.

A lorry driver was driving into Ashton one afternoon. He didn't know the area so, seeing a couple of local blokes walking along Warrington Road, he pulled up to ask directions.
"Alright lads"! asks the driver, "Can you tell me where Garswood is"?
One of the local blokes looks at his watch and replies, "Well, it's two o'clock, so he'll be either in t'Catholic Club or t'Kings Arms"!

I knew Keith from starting secondary school in 1951 you couldn't wish to meet a nicer Lad-cum-Man anywhere in Ashton, R.I.P. Keith

keith,s funeral is at st thomas church 7th feb @ 1-30 in ashton then the catholic club later .
