Baldwin's of Upholland

Has anyone got any memorabelia to do with my Ancestors the Baldwin Families of Upholland that you would like to share? They were farmers from 1841 to 1901 according to the census's in Hall Bridge Farm and Winstanley Wood Farm, Upholland.

theres a farm in standish that has been owned and run by the baldwins for as long as i can remember its behind the 3cats house on almond brook road/and another one on coppel moor onthe corrner as you turn of preston road to go to dave barons hope this will help you baldwin [:0]

Baldwin, A family of Baldwins came to live on a farm at Leyland green farm in the 1940s i was at school with Bill the eldest son, the youngest son has a farm at Landgate his name is Ritchard,

Richard died years ago. Richards son, Stuart, runs it now, so it's still Baldwins.

Thanx for that Bentlegs n Tonker, I wll check it out. I am interested in Hall Bridge Farm, Dingle Rd and Winstanley Wood Farm, Mill Ln, both in Upholland and both run by the Baldwin Families.

The Baldwins from the Cat i`th Window farm and the son at Coppull all live up Lancaster way.

Thanx to 'samster' I have just visited Hallbrook Farmhouse and got a load of pictures. I also found Daniel 1798 Baldwins gravestone at St Thomas the Martyr.
Couldnt find Winstanley Wood Farm though
