If it's on Google Earth I can't find it
Here is the Link to GE
We flew from Makassar to Malili on the island of Sulawesi, Indonesia
Must be under that flight-path somewhere
Replied: 30th Dec 2011 at 14:27
Struggling to find your island. Apparently, there is a lot of conservation work in that area - dubious fishing practices (detonation of explosives) have destroyed many of the coral reefs thereabouts.
One of my brothers went to The Maldives this year - apparently they will be under water in the not to distant future.

Imontquay was second engineer. The trip taking in Australia was on a 166000 ton oil and bulk ore carrier called "The English Bridge" The whole trip including flying out to Japan to join her and flying home from Brazil 6 months aboard visiting various places, cost the grand sum of £25. NIcko:
''Was up the coast a few weeks ago, and I saw 2 goannas doing exactly that, with a bush turkey looking on and flicking mulch at themweird perhaps the bush turkey was a prude''
I once had a swim in the blue lake on North Straddie and when I was climbing out, there was one of them big buggars of a goanna on a tree trunk at the side of me clothes. Its not somethin' you see everyday next to the rose bridge lock by-wash, is it. It was unforgettable and wonderful.

Strange shape for a nugget - I always imagine nuggets as being small stones.

I've put some Volcano photos on my blog
Just look at this one, an afternoon stroll inside a live Volcano -- no special clothes - wearing my ordinary shoes

Not sure I would walk on that! I saw a documentary on Etna a few years ago, and they take people on tours up there. Some climbers have died falling through the crust.
Great pics on the blog.
