old photo's
I am making an appeal to all wigan world members ,for quite a while now i have been trying to find photo's of were i was born ,and that was 460 ORMSKIRK ROAD , HALF WAY HOUSE ,PEM.
THE HOUSE AT 460 was almost oposite the pub today there is a bargain booze /used to be a video shop . Back in those days 1947-1956 we had no such thing as a camera, the house was a 2up 2 down NO hot running water, toilet was ouside at the back near Ravine club i just hope and wish some one some where has an old photo or two cheers keep safe all.

If they made it easier to post pics on here as we were told it would be when the new WW was launched people would have a chance but it's not changed and they can't be arsed like me

peter g I find it easy enough to post pictures, but I suppose it could be made even easier, but after a lot of work re doing Wiganworld, the messagboards are still being spoiled by those rejected members so maybe the admin as given up.

I agree with the problem of putting photos on here, It's much simpler on Facebook. If I were you Golden bear I would try Facebook, Wigan Now and Then or Wigan Nostalgia. Both have lots of photos. I've seen old survey photos too of Ormskirk road

I have to agree with Peter here as you can pick any photo you wish from anywhere and upload a single photo like this from the Parkside photos ,
