Looking thru as u do I came across Ince Infectious Diseases Hospital. Near Amberswood common, Wigan Rd.Anyone know exactly where it was? near walmsley (Ince)Park? Soreen.

Soreen,it was on the Hindley side of Seaman Way,and about 50 yards in,and maybe about the same distance in from Manchester Rd,it's completely overgrown now.

Soreen,I never saw the hospital,only a few bricks, and that was over 20 years ago and now it's much too overgrown to see anything,sorry.

We used to call it the sanitarium.We only ventured to it once when we were kids.It was overgrown with rhododendrons and was very creepy,

Yes it was the sanatarium treated patients with TB.
