Great stuff. And they could also expend on this and give us a a hundred more views of the beach (and from every street corner, cafe, restaurant, pub, supermarket, ambulance, fire engine, bus etc) taken from all of the privately owned CCTV cameras that are everywhere intruding on everyone's privacy and recording everyones face with facial recognition, well the ones that do work when there isn't some "terrorist" attack.
On a lighter note, wonderful place Llandudno, has one of the nicest beaches I've been to. The boat rides are great too and not bad value for money:)

we have been twice in recent years and enjoyed the walks on the flat prom, its a clean town with a olde world atmosphere. some good pubs dotted around the town and only a short drive away.

Joseph Evans, of Haydock, owned the Great Orme and had Marine Drive constructed around it!

So a strong Wigan connection then

A stronger connection with Wigan than Llandudno ever had!

Fiona Richards did much research in 2011 on Deganwy history during Victorian/Edwardian times with an account of Joseph Evans having owned estates on the Great Orme and other places. Many of his papers are held in Saint Helens local history archives.
