Having worked in the housing industry, I have seen first hand how former homeless adjust to living in accomodation, and it isn't good. The longer the homeles state, the harder the transition.

You are quite right, Tomplum, the 'homeless' seen on the streets of Wigan are, in the majority, beggars who have homes to go to.

Yes Firefox, I understand, Kevin himself will admit that he would continue living in the woods because he likes it there but, It would be nice to go somewhere in the extreme weather and dry his clothes, wash and keep dry and warm,

Firefox, your last statement is correct but there are some people on here who won't have it, they conflate beggers with the homeless.

On Saturday you was telling me I'd 'staged it'.

At least your inconsistences are consistent.

I despise when people bash homeless people on the opinion that they won't help themselves or have no reason to be homeless and are just drug addicts etc. Not necessarily the case. There is a huge rise in people on the streets, and this is partly due to people losing their jobs and their homes. Yet, the banks are being bailed out, the Royal family are living in sheer luxury and contributing absolutely nothing to society other than receiving the money directly from the tax paying public to fund their lifestyles and homes. At the same time, money is being siphoned off to nefarious activities that we are not privy to, or being wasted on things we don't need (ie a new bus station). public services are being cut because governments are having to pay back all the national debts that the countries are having to owe back to the central banks, with interest.
