Stupidest scam I've heard yet
I got a phone call yesterday supposed to be from Talktalk saying my internet is running slow. Now I know Talktalk say they never phone anyone they send letters or emails with a padlock sign on. I could hear kids in the background talking in a foreign language so i said to the Asian chap on the phone "And whereabouts in India are you ringing from" he said "I'm ringing from London" so i said "Whereabouts in London" and here said "ARSENAL" ha Ha.

You wouldn't believe the problems I have had with talktalk. I have now changed supplier. They continually rang up (from the Phillapines), even when I was on holiday.. I could not use my land line for a month due to crackling on the line and the internet was so slow. They eventually sent a engineer out who rectified it. They told me I would have to pay for his visit, I was very polite and told them no. They told me I would have to pay £130 for the new router they sent and again I was very pleasant. The engineer told me the most complaints were regarding talktalk.

I've been with Talk Talk since the days when it was Tiscali, well over twenty years. Not a single propblem. Odd isn't it when people are so close and some have and others haven't.

Sorry, Peter, but isn't Arsenal a part of London?
Arsenal is a quiet residential area located in Highbury, north-central London. Arsenal tube station is on the Piccadilly Line in Zone 2 between Holloway Road and Finsbury Park. Originally known as Gillespie Road, it was renamed in 1932 after Arsenal Football Club, who at the time played at the nearby Arsenal Stadium.
Home to Arsenal Football Club, the Emirates Stadium is in north London, in the borough of Islington, in between Highbury and Islington and Finsbury Park.

Arsenal hails from Woolwich, home of the Ordnance base near the Dockyard. Everything called Arsenal now derives from the football club.
