Miss Marple on ITV 3, and possibly Poirot afterwards - the only thing that interested me.

Paying a fortune to Virgin.

Ant and chuffin' Dec BAHHHHHHHH
Bin watchin' Swedish crime stuff on BBC4 most Saturday nights for what seems forever. Tonight is Wallander 9-00pm.
This is the 'fat' Wallander - Rolf Lassgard. There is a thin Wallander Henrik Christianson or is it Christin Henrickson ha ha. It's a bit "hurgle furgle bjorn borg 40 30" but with subtitles.

£145.50 (or whatever it is now) p.a. to the BBC (regardless of the convoluted method) regardless of what/who you're watching. Or even if you're not watching at all.

Though I suppose the same criticism could be levelled at salletite and cable TV companies.

This series of Miss Marple isn't a patch on the Joan Hickson version.
What is the reason there are no repeats? something to do with copyright maybe.

Anne - Virgin have been playing the Joan Hickson episodes but I think it is on a different channel - I watched one last week. If I find the channel I will post it.

I used to love Joan Hickson, but I think Geraldine McEwan is better.

Edit: No Joan Hickson versions scheduled for the following week.

Thanks veggie,
Don't have anything but free view. Am I odd in that respect?

I wouldn't have thought so Anne. I don't recommend that you get Virgin or SKY because there is never anything to watch in the evening - I don't watch daytime TV.

It is possible that the Joan Hickson series was on one of the channels available to Freeview - I will keep my eyes peeled.

Once you choose the movie you want and press on it.
You will get a screen with the video - you will have to press play and at first various pop up pages will come up just close them and go back to the original page and then press play again.

At no point should you input any information. If you are on the right page and not on pop up advert then it isn't necessary.

Note in some cases before pressing play you have to close the advert on top of the video screen. Do not press download
Once you are playing the videos there are no interruptions.

Another night with nothing on the telly.

Well, nothing that really appeals - paying money for nothing to Virgin Media.

May see whats on iPlayer....

Weather rotten too - had to put the lights on.

mache - I took your suggestion with BBC4 - I really enjoyed that. Dan Cruckshank doin' mad King Ludwig's palaces. Fabulous. Ive been to them all. I always thought he was mad as a biscuit but in actual fact it was really just expensive escapism on his part.
