i dont mind growing older
its a priviledge denide to many.

Billy,Billy!!! Haven't you heard the saying,you are only as old as the last woman etc,etc....? I read a little joke in the local paper today,it could be pertinent to this little discussion;do we have joke section on this forum?,if so I'll post it. By the way Billy how long have you lived in Hindley? maybe you could help me track down some old friends or have I asked this before?

i am the wrong man to ask roy, i am not native to this area. originaly we came from preston. but if you ask copperhead, you could get lucky cos he is from hindley.(according to his profile) ask the man roy, he,s a nice guy.

I lived in Hindley uptil about 71 but i'm still quite local.

A couple who spring to mind are the same age as myself,mid-late sixties.One is Ron Houghton who I belive joined the policeforce after his Apprenticeship at de Havs,and the other is Frank Elliot who also worked at de Havs,the last I heard he had moved to Scotland but he may have returned to his home town.There are probably others but it is hard to remember them all. And do we have a joke section??
